The heat shield on the mid pipe that connects turbo to exhaust manifold is not the most durable construction. As they age they tend to break down and delaminate. The material is so thin it is not weldable, and a new OEM one currently lists for $330. Looking to offer a more durable and affordable replacement we designed an aluminum sheet metal shield that is a direct replacement. No modifications are needed for install and it works with the factory turbo shield.

This shield could potentially also work with aftermarket headers and we will provide feedback once customers try to fit them up. Even if these are not a direct fit it can serve as something solid to build from and customize to one's specific set up.
