New for 2017 we are now offering colored loops for curve skis. Curve stopped producing colored loops and only offers them in black. After reading and hearing guys complain about no color options on loops I've decided to find a solution. After several fit ups I've concluded that one of Slydog's ski loops would adapt very nicely onto the curve ski. Loop kits with hardware will retail for $60.

In addition to looking cool, the sly dog loop kit will reduce total cost on a new set of curve skis by an additional $40 as the curve loops are more expensive. This savings in addition to the $45 saved by not needing to buy a mounting kit amounts to $85 total savings.

Curve skis offer substantial grip and flotation in loose snow conditions and off trail riding. The skis are wider for good flotation and have a unique concave shaped bottom which is wider in the front and then tapers down. This design contour acts as a funnel. The wide section in the front funnels the snow in and it gets compacted as it passes through the narrow section of the ski. The compacted snow provides an edge for the ski to grip, which is what gives this ski such an advantage in loose snow conditions. On packed snow handling can be dialed in with carbides but when snow is loose the ski design becomes the driving force in handling.

We've done research and trial fit ups and have figured out how to utilize stock ski rubbers and ski bolt to mount curve skis on any Yamaha 4 stroke sled. This eliminates the need to purchase a mounting kit. All Viper and Sidewinder sleds require some minor trimming of the ski rubber and some shim washers which are included with the skis. On all the Japan built Apex, Vector, Nytro ect we install a shim plate and ski bolt bushings so they are ready to bolt right on. This saves you $45!
